Eight Oyo PDP Lawmakers And Party Leaders Set To Join APC.

 Eight currently serving PDP-affiliated members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, together with a number of important PDP leaders, plan to switch to the state's main opposition party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This was revealed in Ibadan on Sunday by a disgruntled PDP lawmaker who did not want his name published.

He claimed that the state lawmakers' intended defection stems from their being excluded from the party's ballot for the 2023 elections.

This incident occurs just three weeks after Rauf Olaniyan, the state's deputy governor, defected to the opposition party and joined the APC.
